Flu Shot Clinic - Sept 13th

Flu Shot Clinic

The Anderson-Shiro Jr-Sr  High School will host a flu shot clinic on  Monday, September 13, 2pm to 5pm in the cafetorium. The Texas Department of State Health Services will be administering the vaccines. The immunization will be available in both shot or mist form.  The cost is $20.00.  Please e-mail mwalla@ascisd.net with questions.

Senior Meeting Scheduling

Senior meetings will be scheduled for  Aug 30 - Sept 2 and Sept 7-10. The purpose of these meetings is to make plans for after high school (college, military, work, etc). Please call or e-mail Mrs. Rogers to set up an appointment. for senior and parents to come in for individual meetings. Meetings will be scheduled every 30 minutes beginning at 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Texas NCLB Report Cards

Section 1111(h)(2) of the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) requires each local education agency (LEA) that receives Title I, Part A funding to disseminate specific LEA- and campus-level data to 1) all LEA campuses, 2) parents of all enrolled students, and 3) to make the information widely available through public means such as posting on the internet, distribution to the media, or distribution through public agencies.

To meet this requirement the Texas Education Agency (TEA) provides these statistics at the state level and for each district or campus that is required.
