Terri Brent

My name is Terri Brent and I am the Anderson Elementary Counselor.  I was raised in Orange, Texas and lived there until I graduated from college.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.  After teaching for 3 years, I received my Master’s degree in counseling from Lamar University.   This is my 7^th year in school counseling.  I am married to Fred Brent, Superintendent of Anderson-Shiro CISD, and we have 3 children.  Austin is 7, Alex is 5, and Abby is 3.  We are very glad to be a part of the Anderson-Shiro CISD family and it has been wonderful to work with such a fine group of individuals.  

As school counselor, I do individual and group counseling, testing, guidance curriculum, and special education referrals.  I also work closely with teachers and parents in helping students in many areas.
